Minto Brown

Sullivan and I headed out to Minto Brown Island Park today. This park has lots & lots of trails. We walked (I say we but I mean me! He sat in the luxury of the BOB stroller...) for about five miles. There were trails we didn't even hike but it was too hot to keep going.

Just a nice view we had of the Willamette River.

Mmmmm! Blackberries! Ripe for the picking. Sully ate at least a cup of them, right off the bushes. I really tried not to think of bugs that may have been on them. ;o)

Corn fields! Fall is coming!

The most eventful part of our walk was that we lost Sully's baby somewhere on the trail. For those of you unaware, "Baby" is Sullivan's life-support-system. Combined with his binky of course! So we headed back to see if we could find Baby. Big mistake to let Sully walk through gravel when you're in a hurry! He's a rock hound and must inspect every single rock.

Reunited! Yay! We were lucky enough to stumble across Baby, thoughtlessly thrown from the stroller into a thicket of blackberries. Sully was happy to be back together with both Baby and Binky. :o)
