This. Is. Sullivan.

Some random pics & info about my little Sullymander...

The shirt says it all, people.

Just a cute shot...must have been from September?? He still has a little color on his face and summery-blond in his hair so I know it was a while ago.

He's so cute :o)

I may have posted this in another blog...but it is cute enough to post again! He is sitting on the tiny little motorcycle and thought it was the funniest thing ever. I think, judging by the look on his face, that he knows exactly how cute he really is.

The funny thing about the above photo is that, while adorable, it looks nothing like him!

He loves to run around with some gear on...gloves, hats, frequently a costume....

These two shots are from Keaton's soccer game in October, the one that Grandma & Grandpa were at (in case I forgot to post them...)

The final two are from the Big Dance Party Night (the video I posted the other day).

After that we say goodnight to everyone we know
(this list gets longer & people are repeated when he is trying to extend his bedtime, lol)
(this list can also be "who wears underwear instead of diapers" rather than saying goodnight to everyone, depending on how we are doing with the potty training that day...and he also assigns which theme of underwear we all have on; most of us wear Iron Man undies, in the World According To Sully.)
*He loves to play hide'n seek with Daddy and Keats
*He loves Scooby Doo, Calliou, Toy Story, and Blues Clues

*He likes doing things that make him feel like a Big Boy: wearing a backpack, going to school, making crafts, packing a lunch, etc.
*I still can't count on him to sleep through the night, but most nights he sleeps about 9 pm until 8 am.
*He is an observer and tends to be more quiet in a group of kids...until he warms up and then he's a nut
*His feet are always sweaty...even when he's barefoot!
*He doesn't like helping to pick up toys
*He has thrown away nearly every spoon we have; I have replaced our spoons three times (he eats a yogurt and then tosses both the cup & spoon in the garbage and we don't notice...until one day we have no spoons...)
*He comes up to me every day for at least a little snuggle and quiet time
*He loves chocolate. And I mean LOVES chocolate!
*He hasn't had any nuts since his allergic reaction to almonds last spring
*He has weighed 32 pounds for almost a year but has grown several inches
*He runs up to Keaton to hug him when they've been separated for a while, such as for school
*He has seasonal allergies (hay fever)
*He likes to help with yardwork
*He does not know all his colors yet
*He very rarely consumes anything at dinner
*He still carries his "baby" with him but doesn't always need to be touching it now; he does, however, need it for sleep

This Is Keats

The above pics were taken for Keaton's scrapbook, marking the big Kindergarten Event....and I hope to one day actually scrapbook something, anything, for my boys!

This, or a photo very much like it, will be transformed into invitations to Keaton's Lego birthday party next month.

We had Jamey for a day a couple of weeks ago. He and Keats have soooo much fun together!

*****Some fun information about Keaton*****

Favorite Activities: Building with Legos, soccer, playing Monopoly with his daddy, wrestling with Sully, more Legos, building with Bionicles or K'nex, more soccer, playing on our iTouch iPods, printing out coloring pages of Star Wars and superheroes and lots of coloring/drawing.

Favorite Things To Say: "Awesome!!"***"Mom, look!!"***"No, Sully!"

Foods He Likes: Super-duper juicy pears, hummus, literally any candy/cookie/cake, steak with A1 sauce (and lots of it!) (like he can eat a whole man-sized steak!), salmon, broccoli, sugar snap peas, mac n' cheese, ice cream.

Foods He Doesn't Like: Carrots, salad, any kind of mixture of veggies, bell peppers (any color, he literally gags), tomatoes (though he loves ketchup and any kind of marinara/spaghetti sauce).

General Things He Doesn't Like: Being picked up and spun around, heights (especially if there is any wiggling/movement involved), clothes that he thinks look decidedly uncool, shoes that feel funny in any way.

Sweetest Thing About Keats: He writes notes to me, several times a day, that say "Keats loves Mama." As if that wasn't cute enough, he draws a heart for "love" and frequently puts the "s" before the heart, or puts my name first...so his messages say something like "Mama s(heart) Keats"...melts my heart every single time. If it is on paper, I keep every single note; many times he just walks up to me with the message drawn on his MagnaDoodle board. He also does the sign language "I Love You" and will just say "hey mom" and when I look at him he holds up his hand with the sign (which is thumb, pointer finger, and pinky extended for I, L, and Y). He is such a BOY with all the Legos & battle ships & weapons & robots & everything is shooting or attacking everything else...so I love love love that he has this sweet side.

One Amazing Thing About Keats: He is obsessed with human anatomy and knows an amazing amount for such a little guy! He can tell me when his bladder hurts (like when he hasn't peed in fifteen hours & it hurts a little after he goes). He knows that the "blue veins" take blood back to the heart & the "red veins" (arteries, lol) take blood down to your feet & to your brain. He likes to look at anatomy books with me before bed. He particularly likes the bones & muscles but he likes to giggle at the close-ups of our noses or bottoms, too. ;o)
